LightMaster's Role

For personal information we collect directly from Customers and Authorized Users for account management, billing, support, marketing, analytics, and service administration, LightMaster generally acts as an independent business or controller.
For personal information about End Customers that a Customer enters into LightMaster, LightMaster generally processes that information on behalf of the Customer to provide the Services. In that context, the Customer is responsible for determining what information is collected, why it is collected, how it is used, and whether appropriate notices, permissions, and consents have been obtained.
End Customers who have questions about how a holiday lighting company uses their information should contact that company directly. Where required or appropriate, we may help Customers respond to privacy requests involving Customer Data.

We Do Not Sell Customer Data
We do not sell Customer Data entered into the LightMaster CRM.
We do not use Customer Data about End Customers for our own unrelated advertising purposes.
We may use limited account, device, usage, and website information for analytics, service improvement, security, and marketing activities. Depending on applicable law and the technologies used, some analytics or advertising activities on our website may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.” Where required, we will provide applicable opt-out choices.
Communications
We may send service-related communications, such as account notices, billing notices, security alerts, product updates, and support messages. These communications are transactional or administrative and may be necessary to provide the Services.
We may also send marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us at support@mastersoftware.io. Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send service-related communications.
Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide a mobile phone number in connection with the Services (for example, for account verification or customer portal login), we may send you text (SMS) messages such as one-time passcodes, verification codes, and service-related notifications. Message frequency varies based on your use of the Services (for example, one message per login or verification attempt). Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile phone numbers or other mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver messages (such as our SMS delivery provider).

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, operate our business, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect security.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the Customer's subscription status, legal requirements, backup practices, and business needs.
Customer Data may be deleted or made unavailable after account cancellation, termination, prolonged inactivity, or expiration of applicable retention periods, subject to backup, legal, compliance, and security requirements.
Customers can export their data directly from within LightMaster at any time while their account is active.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.
However, no system, network, software, or method of transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
